The first day is a complete HORROR!
The main stage has completely collapsed. Its totally destroyed. Useless.
The entire stage, sound system, everything! Gone. Probably about 200,000Euros, worth of equipment.
It rained extremely hard, (It has been for the last 2 weeks but the organizers said they were afraid to tell anyone, cause maybe no one would come) We also heard the weather report predicts clouds for the eclipse : (
Okay, back to the stage: Apparently, they didnt have the correct support frames to hold up the stage, and after the heavy rain, it all just collapsed. It was really scary. 2 people are now in the hospital, one in critical condition.
Send your prayers that they both recover!
Its very chaotic here. A rumour has t that the locals are also very unhappy with the way the Israeli organizers have been treating them. |

The Indigokids are my good friends from Bali organizing the soulclipse.
and they confirmed mi the collapsing stage and no injuries and that the spirit is great and strong bands between All!
Re-building it and the party is booming!
I will arrive their after de eclipse, in Istambul 29 at 19.30 and from their looking for lift to the festival!!! I WILL MISS THE ECLIPSE!!!!!
But I will go their to support the family of Light, dancers and evolution!

i've been there for 2 weeks and came back yesterday...
it was a really nice time and i enjoyed it very much...
the spirit and the vibes been great, the eclipse awesome.
the first day haven't been a horror at all and nobody can do something about such a thunderstorm with ice-rain i've never seen before.
ice was still there on thusday.

One thing is a fact no matter what you say and no matter how highly you think about the organisers. The Mainstage was poorly build and secured. It was even dangerious and people could have been injured or in worse case senario. Killed. Thank god no one was injured or killed. But the organisers are still guilty of putting peoples lives at risk. No matter the heavy storm and ice rain it would never have collapsed if they had secured it the correct way and according to international laws about how you secure a stage of that size. I am happy you had a great time but there is some legit complaints the organisers should think about and learn from if they ever do such an event again.
Its always very easy to get angry on those who do not just accept things because the organisers seem so nice and because the spirit of the festival was so nice. People have a right to complain and point out the neglect from the organisers side and the danger when a stage collaps. Especially when they have put so much money into the pockets of the organisers. |

Yes I was there and my profession used to be to build stages at big commercial European Summer festivals. So I actually do know what I am talking about and i did take a good look at the Mainstage just after the collapse and mark my words. It was very poorly secured. You obvioulsy do not know what you are talking about and just get angry when someone say something you do not like.
I do not attack the Festival. It was great. It attack the lack of professionalism in building a Mainstage and by that causing danger to many many people. Especially the artists and stage people. |

the stage company is very unproffessional, didnt safed the stage with steelwires or watertanks like everywhere, also the roof was not safed...
the 2nd stage was not safed even after the first stage collapsed...PARK is not worth 1 euro !

The others are right, I am a layman and even I could see, that this stage wasn't built up and safed well for international standards. All the people (professional organizers, stage-building people, layman), I have been speaking to told me the same about this. But the problem for me was, the New Main Stage was built up in the same unprofessional way, an unsafe and unstabil building!!! How cannot learn the organizers and stage-builders from their own faults?!
The safety of the people is the first thing to think about at organizing a festival!!!
The second should be the toilets... 3 toilets for 5000 women and 3 for 5000 men?! What do these organizers think about the people, the nature, what they wanna save...?!
It was the worst organized festival, I've ever seen!
But it was one of the most beautyful, nicest event of my life! The people, the spirit, the helping prayers from all the world, the nature helped us to make us the best Gathering and I was especially honored to be at this place!
Thanks to everybuddy who have been there, helping around, doing the best what they could do and giving their soul and energy to the world!
